Where did you get engaged and how long had you been together before hand?

“In a beach hut, in the rain on Llandudno front. We had been together 13 months.”

How many venues did you visit before you chose Warwick House as your wedding venue?

“One other.”

How did you feel when you first visited Warwick House, did you know straight away that you wanted to get married here?

“Fell in love with it as soon as we had finished looking around, yes we knew straight away that it was the right place.”

What was your first step in wedding planning? Venue search, dress shopping, choosing a date etc?

“Ooh wow, was a long time ago now? I think it was setting the theme to the wedding first?”

How many months/years in advance did you book your special day?

“We original booked it two years in advance, then changed the date at 10 weeks to go!”

What was the hardest thing about planning your wedding day?

“Trying to please everyone. It’s very difficult. It’s the most amazing experience but also the most upsetting too.”

Where there any funny moments on the Day?

“During the speeches, I was handing out thank you gifts and my dress came undone.”

What were the highlights of your day?

“It all seems such a blur still! Phil would say seeing me walking down the aisle. I would say our exit, we had falling snowflakes just how we imagined.”

Now you have “been there done that” in hindsight is there anything you would have done differently?

“Nothing done differently, maybe a few more things said in speeches and again not worrying about pleasing others.”

Do you have any advice for Bride and Grooms that are just starting their wedding plans?

“Only to take your time and not stress about pleasing everyone. Also, go with what you both agree on and don’t be swayed by other peoples’ opinions.”

“Your day is about you and not everyone else.”
